ANTI JIGGER CAMPAIGN MUSA PRIMARY SCHOOL
We welcomed our long rain season with gladness because it meant availability of food for farmers. The rain came in hard raining almost every morning and evening, for farmers this was great news, but for student this wasn’t such a great news. In Musa primary school, the cases of anti jiggers have escalated again. Because kids lack shoes, the mud sticks in their feet and hence provide a good ground for jiggers to infest them. Furthermore most with shoes have a torn or hollow shoes which makes them to walk with damp muddy shoes because of the weather conditions and muddy road.

there is more to be done so as to fully eradicate jiggers. Our team is continually researching and coming up with better methods of putting jiggers at bay from schools around western region and the poor and vulnerable people in the community. We hope to see greater and effectual change as we keep visiting our communities.
Such is the site we met at musa primary school when we visited them on 10th July 2025. We cleaned, treated them, cared for over 60 kids, but above all, this time giving the students shoes was so timely and needful. We thank all our supporters for being resilient in the fight against, jiggers, neglect and poverty.
However we were only able to give 25 pairs of shoes in contrast to the 60 children we treated, we know that in future no child will be left out
